They got the warnings right about the Gota Fria a week before Christmas and now today as predicted the snow came down on Orihuela Costa for the first time in 92 years !

Judging by the photos that appeared on facebook for many kids here, both Spanish and expats, it was the first time they'd ever made snowballs. In fact it was the first time a lot of them had even seen snow !

To be truthful there wasn't much of it and by midday it was sleeting then raining and slushy then just plain wet but it was lovely while it lasted.
